I’ve changed the newsletter platform. What used to be RemoteThatWorks on Substack, is now ValeDeOro on Beehiiv. I’d love you to continue following along. Otherwise, you can find the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email.
As I am updating my personal website to get the descriptions for my new coaching offers up, I’ve remembered, rediscovered and updated many resources that I’ve created over time. Some of them are free, some are paid, and all of them are helpful.
But before we get to those, I need your help with naming.
One of my coaching packages is currently named “End-Of-Life Coaching”. It’s all about figuring out both what you want to get out of the rest of your life, as well as how you can make sure those you leave behind can focus on their grief instead of figuring out logistics. And while I do hope that you live to 100 years, having the basics drawn up in your 30s or 40s can make life a lot more enjoyable.
(And yes, there will be a version if you want to start that conversation with/for a parent)
So - how would you name this kind of service? End-of-Life Coaching sounds clinical. Or maybe that’s a feature, not a bug? I do want to make it clear that you want to think about that earlier in life, so you can focus on actually living it.
So, if you have ideas on naming, leave a comment or answer to this email.

On to the resources:
Financial Snapshot
This is a one-page Excel for you to get a clear picture of where you are right now with your finances. If you live alone, fill it in with your own information. If you live with a nesting partner, fill it in together and have those hard conversations around your money, my money, our money.
The file is available in English and Spanish. If you have a Google account, you can make a copy and use it right away. Do not touch the formulas though; only fill in the light blue cells 😉
Access your Financial Snapshot here. If you want to discuss it with me, there’s a link to the booking page in the document.
Prioritisation Worksheet
You may call it analysis paralysis or procrastination. Sometimes making a decision (aka prioritising what to do next) is hard, especially if you need to figure out an order among more than two different options. That’s where the prioritisation worksheet can help.
I’ve used it to compare core values, potential vacation destinations, weekend plans with kids, and professional projects. Again, it’s a Google Sheet, so you can access it here: Prioritisation Worksheet.
Relationship Review (work edition)
Knowing whom you trust, who you go to for advice, and who you could support in levelling up in life and at work can make a huge impact on your day-to-day interactions. Here are a couple of questions I like to ask myself at least once a year:
Relationship Renewal Cards
Talking about relationships: this one works for partners and close friends. I designed this card game to prevent inertia in my most precious relationships. I don’t want us to be partners or friends just because. I want us to choose each other again and again, every year, staying close because we genuinely want to, not because it’s the easier option.
So once a year, we play this game, answer questions, dig deeper. And every year, something comes up that we can improve, change, or do more of.
This is what the professionally printed version looks like, but you can also print them out on “normal” paper and be done with it: Relationship Renewal Cards.

And that’s it for today. If you end up using any of those resources, feel free to send feedback, as usual, everything is work in progress. You and me included.
